Private Fly Fishing Instruction

With over 45 years of experience in the great sport of fly fishing, there is nothing we enjoy more than introducing beginners to this great sport.  Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing School's educational courses are second-to-none and can be enjoyed by all. Over the past 28, years we have developed an easy-to-understand method of teaching the basic fundamentals of fly fishing. Our fly fishing lessons, schools, and clinics are designed to be fun and exciting; offering you fly fishing education, adventure, and an outdoor sport that leads you into the most beautiful places in the world. Fly fishing has stood the test of time by being an outdoor activity anyone can enjoy for a lifetime. We also teach the ancient sport of Tenkara.

 

Full day fly fishing instruction...includes basic entomology related to our trout streams, basic fly casting instructions, knots, and rigging instructions;  all taught streamside with several hours of guided fishing time. 

 

Full day outings are 8 hours on the water and we provide all needed gear,

lunch, snacks and drinks.

Rates for full day Private Instruction are $300 for one angler, $350 for two, add $100 for each additional angler. Gift Certificate are available.

Active military and veterans, law enforcement and first responders receive a 10% discount. Those disabled in the line of duty receive 100% discount.
